Additional Services from Our University Partners

While our team is excited to welcome your group to campus housing this summer, there are additional services available to your group that Conference Housing does not provide. Our partners across the University work diligently to deliver other needs you may have. The list below provides an overview of commonly requested services. If you have a need that is not listed, please reach out to Conference Housing so we can direct you to the appropriate offices.

University Partner Services

Most campus event spaces are managed through our partners at Columbia Event Management. You may contact by phone (212)-854-5800 or by email [email protected] to view and rent spaces. If you are interested in reserving a lounge space, please inform the Conference Housing team during the planning process. We reserve lounges on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep in mind that lounge space availability varies by building.

As part of Columbia Event Management, our campus partner also provides a range of catering options that can be tailored to meet the needs of your conference.

Columbia Housing can connect you with a representative from Columbia Dining who will be able to assist you with any dining questions or needs. Convenient meals can easily be a part of your conference experience  at a reasonable cost in one of our undergraduate dining halls. To contact the Dining team, please email Daphne Mendez at [email protected] or call 212-854-4076.

All groups visiting or stay on campus must adhere to Columbia’s vaccine requirement. For information regarding health compliance, please contact Catherine Gorodetsky at [email protected].

Columbia Housing works closely with the office of Disability Services at Columbia Health to accommodate individuals with disabilities. If you or your guests require special housing arrangements, please inform our team during initial outreach. For specific Disability Services related questions, please contact Disability Services by email at [email protected] or by phone at (212)-854-2284.

If your group will need computer and printing access during your stay, please indicate this upon initial outreach with housing.

Conference guests may purchase a gym membership at the on-campus Dodge Fitness Center. Please contact Jeffrey Ryder at [email protected] and Collin Allison at [email protected].

Library services are not available for conference participants.

Columbia University is accessible through the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. The 1 subway line and MTA buses are conveniently located in front of the Columbia gates. New York City shuttle and taxi services are available 24-hours-a-day as well. If your conference is coming by bus, please instruct the bus driver to load and unload at the Amsterdam Avenue and 116th Street entrance to campus.

If your conference group is interested in a campus tour, please contact the Visitors Center located in 213 Low Library by phone at (212)-854-4900 or by email: [email protected].
