2018 Intern Housing (9 weeks: 5/27 -7/28)

Start Date:
5/27/2018
End Date:
7/28/2018
Description:

9-Week Intern Housing

Columbia Housing is pleased to welcome college and university students from around the world who have a summer internship in, or around New York City. Intern housing is also available in special circumstances to those who will be working on research at nearby institutions affiliated with Columbia.

Undergraduate and just graduated students in Columbia College and SEAS are not eligible for Intern Housing and should apply for Summer Housing instead.

Intern Housing is provided based on a 9 week period. Charges are based on a Sunday arrival and Saturday departure, regardless of when you arrive or depart. Charges will not be prorated for late arrivals or early departures. Individual day rates are not available.

Accommodations

2018 Intern Housing is available in 47 Claremont. 47 Claremont is a suite-style building comprised of 4 to 8 person suites sharing a bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Check-In dates: Sunday May 27, 2018 after 9am

Check-Out dates: Saturday, July 28, 2018 before 11:00 am

Assignments are made individually by Conference Housing on a first-come, first-serve basis. While the Conference Housing staff will do their best to accommodate roommate and room requests, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be granted. Air Conditioning will be provided. As plates, pots, and utensils are not provided in kitchens, guests may wish to bring their own. Interns will also receive a full gym membership to the Dodge Physical Fitness Center for the entire period of stay - once they have received their University ID and gym sticker from the housing office.

Disability Accommodations

To request special accommodations due to a disability, please indicate this need on the application. In addition, applicants must submit a Disability Housing Accommodations Request Form and supporting documentation to Disability Services. Disability Services cannot guarantee accommodations, which are based upon availability. Requests are subject to the approval of the office. If Disability Services approves a request, Conference Housing makes every effort to meet guest needs.
